We collect only what we need to bake and fulfill your order. Your information is never sold, shared for marketing, or used for anything beyond fulfilling your request.

When you reach out through our contact or order form, we collect your name, email address, and phone number. This is the minimum needed to respond to your inquiry and coordinate your order.
If you place an order through our shop, your contact details are collected to arrange pickup or dropoff. Payment information (including card numbers and billing details) is handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see, store, or have access to your full payment credentials.
We retain records of what was ordered (items, quantities, preferences) so we can bake correctly and follow up if something goes wrong.

Your information is used for one purpose: fulfilling your order and responding to your messages. That means confirming your order, coordinating pickup or dropoff, and reaching out if there is ever an issue with what we baked.
We send transactional emails through Resend, including order confirmations and updates. We do not send marketing emails unless you have separately opted in, and we do not use your contact details to build advertising profiles.
We do not use your data to run retargeting campaigns, sell advertisements, or infer things about you beyond what you have told us directly.

Stripe: All payment processing runs through Stripe. When you enter card details at checkout, that information goes directly to Stripe's servers and is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy. We only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded.
Resend: We use Resend to send transactional emails such as order confirmations. Your email address is passed to Resend solely to deliver messages you have requested or that are necessary for your order.
Sanity: Our product content is managed through Sanity, a content management system. Sanity does not store any customer or order data. It holds only the bakery's product descriptions, images, and site content.
We do not sell your data to any third party, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the service providers listed above who require it to operate our shop.

Contact form submissions are retained only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and resolve any follow-up questions. Once your matter is closed, we do not hold onto that correspondence indefinitely.
Order data (your name, contact details, and what you ordered) is retained in line with Stripe's data retention policies, as Stripe is the system of record for completed transactions.
We do not sell your data under any circumstances. We do not share it with data brokers, advertising networks, or any party that would use it to contact you independently.

You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct inaccurate information, or to request that we delete your data where we are not required by law to retain it.

We are a small home bakery. You are always communicating with a real person, not an automated system.

We use your browser's local storage to keep your cart intact while you browse the shop. This data lives only on your device, contains no personal information, and is never transmitted to any server until you begin checkout.
We do not use advertising trackers, cross-site tracking pixels, or analytics that identify you personally. We do not participate in any behavioral advertising network.
Cart data is cleared automatically when your order is placed or when you clear your browser's local storage.
